Bathtub Store Return Policy

You may return an item for refund or replacement provided that the item(s) are returned to us within 30 days of the shipment date. All items returned must be in original box and in resalable condition.

To return an item, you must contact customer service for a Return Merchandise Authorization number. The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box to qualify for a refund or replacement. Packages received without a RMA number will be refused at our warehouse and sent back to the sender.

Returns must be sent in original packaging, including the box and packing materials. Items that have torn or marked boxes will not be accepted. Items that were shipped in shrink wrap packaging must remain in the shrink wrap. Items scratched, dented, or otherwise damaged because of insecure packing will not be eligible for return. Avoid excessive markings to the box and use packaging tape, not duct tape, to reseal the box.

You may ship return items via UPS, FedEx, or United States Postal Service. You may want to insure and track your return, as we cannot be responsible for lost, damaged, or misdirected returns.


Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items

Items that involve custom work or painting at the time of sale are not returnable.

Tubs and special order items not listed in our catalog or on our web site are not returnable.

Items that have been installed are not returnable. If an installed part is defective, please contact us and we will instruct you on how to return the part. (Installation must be done by a qualified, licensed professional.) Once the part is received, we will repair or replace the part at our discretion. Refunds will not be given for defective parts.

Items that have markings, scratches, plumber's putty or in any way show signs of installation, alteration, or mishandling are not eligible for refunds.


Shipping and Restocking Fees

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. Returns are subject to a 20 percent restocking fee.

If you decide you do not want an item after it has left our warehouse, you will receive a full refund minus all shipping expenses and a 20% restocking fee.

Items that include prepaid shipping will have the actual shipping charges, both to and from destination, deducted before applying the 20 percent restocking fee. Likewise, items shipped in a crate will have the crate charge deducted before applying the restocking fee.

Crediting Your Account

Returns are processed weekly. It typically takes 5-15 business days for a credit card company to credit your account. Please allow time for processing. Issued credits will appear on your credit card billing statement.


The Bathtub Store Marble Bathtubs Warranty

If a The Bathtub Store, cultured marble bathtub product, within five years of its original purchase, is found to be defective in materials or workmanship, after inspection by an authorized The Bathtub Store representative, The Bathtub Store will repair or, at its option, exchange the product for a similar model. This limited warranty is applicable, so long as it remains in use in its original place of installation. The Bathtub Store General Warranty This limited warranty applies only to the original purchasers and installation of these products. In the event of a limited warranty claim, proof of purchase will be required, so please save your sales receipt. This limited warranty does not apply to commercial installations. The warranty for commercial installations is one (1) year. This limited warranty does not apply to local building code compliance. Since local building codes vary considerably, the purchaser of this product should check with a local building or plumbing contractor to assure local code compliance before installation. This limited warranty is void if the product has been moved from its initial place of installation; if it has been subjected to faulty maintenance, abuse, misuse, accident or other damage; if it was not installed in accordance with The Bathtub Store's instructions; or if it was modified in a manner inconsistent with the product as shipped by The Bathtub Store. The Bathtub Store's option to repair or exchange the product under this limited warranty does not cover any labor, shipping or other costs of exchange, removal or installation. IN NO EVENT WILL The Bathtub Store BE LIABLE FOR THE COST OF REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR SHIPPING FEES ASSOCIATED WITH ANY INSTALLATION OR RELATED MATERIALS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, TILES, MARBLE, ETC. The Bathtub Store will not be responsible for any other incidental or consequential damages attributable to a product defect or to the repair or exchange of a defective product, all of which are expressly excluded from this limited warranty. This limited warranty does not cover any liability for consequential or incidental damages, all of which are hereby expressly disclaimed, or the extension beyond the duration of this limited warranty of any implied limited warranties, including those of merchantability or fitness for an intended purpose. (Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of implied limited warranties, so this exclusion may not apply to you.) This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other statutory rights that vary from state to state or from province to province, in which case this limited warranty does not affect such statutory rights.
